Bob Joyce & Moe Kareke Meander Tas April 2013

Always wanted to visit Flinders Island. Do not regret the time. I think we have just about covered it all - clocked up over 1000 klms. Walked, fished, & photographed, met some great characters. Loved the coastline and mountain scenary. N/W winds most of the stay, Moe ate his first Mutton Bird. The cabin was 1st class and the Subaru Forester didn't miss a beat. Love the wildlife. Will reccommend the island to friends for a visit and the Cabin Park. Population is adequate, but push what you have here as a wonderful laid back destination. The gravel roads are a pleasure to drive on. Didn't find any diamonds - sadly.

Vida & Joan Blackman's Bay Tas April 2013

We are two elderly women recently widowed after 60 years of hapy marriage. The time came when we were not coping with grief very well, so we decided to head off into the unknown - Flinders Island. No plans, just let each day happen. The perfect answer! Beautiful island, friendly people, helpful people too, especially our hosts Greg & Margaret. Accommodation ideal. Island not being touristy is its best attraction. Our aim now - "Don't count the days, make the days count. Thank you Flinders. What a wonderful few days. I have loved every moment. Peace, peace perfect peace. Lovely cabin, wonderful hosts. Good car. I am ready to face the world again. I really hope to come and spen more time on this beautiful island

Janeane & Lynne Teesdale Vic March 2013

We have had a most relaxing, peaceful time on your beautiful island. Thank you Marg & Greg for making our stay memorable and for being so kind and generous. We sincerely thank you from our hearts. We don't want to go home! A wonderful magical place - hard to pick a highlight - but perhaps right here and the Pat's River Walk and the awesome hospitality of Marg & Greg.

Ken & Yvonne Stretton Mt Druit NSW Oct 2012

We enjoy going to explore islands. King was nice, but Flinders was excellent.I had a nasty fall at the top of Mt Strzelecki that slowed me up a bit digging for Killiecrankie Diamonds. The Accommodation is great, better than we've had anywhere else. Roads are great, very sad about the road kill. Very nice views from lookouts. Museum was very informative. We have had a very nice relaxing week. Thanks for the hospitality.

Mary Rinaldi Tas

Great location and central to so much. Comfortable and relaxed vibe. Love the island - like nowhwere else.

Charles and Pat Baker NSW

We came with great expectations and they were exceeded! It has been such a joy to come to such a beautiful, scenic but not bucolic corner of our special country, if not the world. It is no exageration to say that you would not find a friendlier, more helpful community anywhere. The only downside has been our sore thighs from climbing Mt Strzelecki. Who's to blame for that? Thank you to Marg, Greg and indeed the Flinders Island community for this special seven day treat! This cottage is all and more and a big bow to Marg and Greg for such luxury and convenience.

Muriel and Gary Dell Blackman's Bay, Tasmania

The campervan was perfect for us & we are so very grateful to you for making it possible to explore such a unique place in this way, eg sleeping out under a full moon on a pristine beach with warm turquise water, green grass & complete solitude. We just kept pinching ourselves! A pic is enclosed from our favourite - Sawyers Beach. We will have this happy memory with us forever - thank you again!
