History of the Flinders Island Mini Golf Course
Designing the course presented numerous challenges. Putting together the design team caused problems from the very beginning of the project. Hoping to get either Tiger Woods or Greg Norman on the design team had to be ruled out as the design budget wasn't adequate to phone either of them. The course suffered another setback when the backhoe drove across it in the wet. Not to be deterred the team pushed ahead and came up with the stroke of genius with the strategic location of the clubhouse to allow access to refreshments twice each round.
